Just found out that I'm a Chip: a Conscious Happy Independent Professional. Gone with the Yup (1998 - 2005), away with the activist (?!) (2005 - 2009) and enters the Chip:

Conscious: The unintended result of my curiosity. You see, I want to understand why things are the way they are, but at the same time I know that there is bliss in ignorance. Catch-22. Now I have to deal with my consciousness; awareness creates responsibility.

Happy: Sometimes my awareness of all that is wrong in the world makes me sad and/or apathetic but overall I am definitely happy and positive. I try to inspire and be inspired. And when I am on my bike, ski's, or hanging under my parapent my happiness reaches euphoria.

Independent: I like to think so; in thought and in action. Ending my directorship at Climate Neutral Group and becoming an independent consultant is the latest step in growing this independence. And fortunately, this blog and other stuff that I write isn't created by committee!

Professional. Sure am. Many years of marketing and management experience. Entrepreneur and I like to think that I know a thing or two about sustainability.
